As we face this new time of uncertainty and challenges you may find yourself scrambling to get the education and support you need for the rest of your pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period within your financial ability. You deserve to have options that keep you physically safe but emotionally supported so doulaed is increasing virtual availability to make sure your needs are met. Doula support and class options are listed below:
Pay-what-you-can virtual doula support for the remainder of your pregnancy and throughout labor includes 2 video chat prenatal appointments to plan and prepare (learn breathing techniques, comfort measures, create birth preference planning sheet, etc.), text support as needed, and text/video support during labor (24/7 so even at 3 in the morning!) with one postpartum video chat appointment. Suggested $300. Contact to book.
Pay-what-you-can private video postpartum support to cover postpartum healing, mental health, sleeping, feeding, pelvic floor recovery, postpartum for dads, etc. Suggested $40. Contact to book.
Pay-what-you-can Zoom classes are available for a variety of times and purposes, with most couples benefitting from at least 2 hours of private instruction. I have a variety of visual aids and hands-on activities to help you learn. This is a great way to get your birth partner ready to support you through the rest of pregnancy and labor, especially where in-person doula support for labor has been limited by most hospitals. For postpartum instruction please plan on an additional hour. Please contact to book a time to work with your schedule. Suggested cost $30/hr of instruction.
Borrow bag option: want more tools to help you through the remainder of pregnancy and birth? My doula client borrow bag is available for rent for $50 if you pick up in Heber or add the cost to ship to and from your home. The bag includes a birth ball with a pump, a labor-specific TENS unit, a fetal doppler, a Rebozo and instructions for use, massage aids, books and dvds from my collection, and more! (Agreement to return all items in good condition is required for use of Borrow Bag.)
Are you birthing somewhere that still allows in-person doula support and you would like to add a doula to your birth team? I’d love to support you through this experience, book a consultation to discuss your needs and we’ll make a package and financial arrangement that will work for your family. Let’s get you doulaed!
